The revival of Château Saint-Jean d'Aumières continues with the arrival of two new wines.

Château Saint-Jean d'Aumières has been catching the lights ever since 2001 paul and manuela tori acquired it back in 2001.

From the start they put the emphasize driving the quality from the vineyard to the bottle , aiming at maximizing the Château's privileged " terroir ".

The first awards came in last year, underscoring the hope behind this new revival. Driven by these encouraging results, Château d'Aumières has chosen to broaden its product range, with the production of its first barrel-aged " cuvées " :

  • Domaine d'Aumières " Les Loupiots " red :
This wine which has been aged for 14 months in French and American oak barrels comes from a unique blend of Cabernet Sauvignon , Merlot and Carignan, selected from our oldest vines : with an average age of 35 years, these are considered among the oldest " Atlantic " varieties of Languedoc .
  • "A" d'Aumières :
Selected from our best plots , this unique wine is a harmonious blend of Syrah and Grenache. The low yielding grapes were hand picked , vinified and aged over a period of 14 months in brand new French oak barrels. "A" d'Aumières is a prime example of the great potential lying in old Languedoc.
The new wines are already on sale after being presented to the professional wine trade during Vinexpo, at the occasion of " Château Saint Jean d'Aumières "'s first participation in this international event.
