Situated a mere 25 kilometers (15 miles) west of Montpellier, in the town of Gignac - between the Cevennes mountain range and the Mediterranean Sea - on an exceptional site nestled among the sloping vineyards which dominate the upper Hérault river valley, lies the vineyard of Saint-Jean d'Aumières.

Manuela and Paul Tori fell in love with the château's natural beauty and took the challenge to acquire it in 2001 because of its exceptional terroir : a deep, well-drained soil highly adequate for vinegrowing, a favorable micro-climate and plots planted with some the region's oldest Cabernet Sauvignons and Merlots.
